2025 U5-U9 Grassroots 'Mini Timbits' Student Summer Soccer Coach Paid Position
Job Posting: Student Grassroots Coaches
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2025 Student Grassroots U7 and U9 Coaches! This is a paid, duke hours, or bursary position open to students aged 15 years and older. We may consider applicants who are 14 years old and will turn 15 during the soccer season.
Key Details: - Separate sessions for boys and girls
- The Grassroots program runs for 10 weeks, concluding with the Fun Canada Soccer Fest BBQ.
- We strive to accommodate soccer schedules, and our U15 and U18 coaches have been excellent in scheduling later turf practices and games to support our young coaches. A big thank you to them!
Position Requirements: - This is a paid position for students.
- Schedule: To be determined; must work 2 shifts per week from 5 PM to 8 PM.
- Certification: While there are certifications required to coach, we offer an ongoing certification process with regular check-ins throughout the year. As long as you are actively working towards certification, we are happy to support you. One required course is only offered in May.
Skills and Qualifications: - Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate young players.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Passion for Soccer: A deep love for the sport and a desire to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with young athletes.
- Creativity and Fun: Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment for players.
Paid positions are paid by honorarium, paid out at the end of season. For paid positions you are required to work two full shifts per week (shifts are 5:00PM-8:00PM). Honorarium is _______
